One of the Swiss brands which disappeared in the 1970s to 1980s caused by "The Great Japanese Quartz Revolution". Duxot was a second subsidiary line by Doxa, that died out in 1970s. Sort of what "Unicorn" was to "Rolex", but used some quality generic movements, incabloc etc. One of the Israeli watch collector / seller claimed that many Duxot watches were issued to the Israeli Defence Force in 1960s.
